We are heading to Africa for Safari. And after four weeks of getting up 5 AM for the morning game drives and long days, we want to head to Stellenbosch to decompress. There are two Bonvoy properties in the area. One is the Protea Stellenbosch, that looks to be a mile or two out of town. The other is the Protea Dorphius.

has anyone stayed at either property? Pro or con? I’m looking at this property because I have millions of miles and would like part of the trip to be on award. 🤣🤣🤣

And if not these properties, any recommendations for other hotels in the area?
