On the 777-200, the bulkhead in front of row 17 doesn’t go all the way to the floor, so you can stretch out your legs. It has better leg room than row 18.
The legroom is restricted for 26A because of the emergency slide attached to the door. You can get out of the seat without B & C passengers needing to get up. Noise from the lavs and people lining up to use the lavs will likely be more of an issue than any smells, unless someone manages to overflow the toilet…
