My 1st thought would be - would you pay GBP7000 in not using points. Personally I don't class any scheme that would charge GBP1500 co-pay for award tickets good value

Looking on ITA, it looks like there significantly cheaper options - e.g. TK for GBP5200 for 2 people and I would be using that as a price comparison since I wouldn't pay GBP1800 extra for BA

At GBP5200, it is working out a value of approximately 3.5p per point - only you can decide if you think that this is good value
