Well that worked a heck of a lot better than expected. I showed up at my gate about 1.5 hrs before flight. Long line at the gate but it moved fast. Expertflyer said their were 6 seats left in business.

I asked gate agent if I could bid on upgrade. She asked to see my ticket (economy) and then told me it would be $550. Boom. I get to sleep tonight. I was prepared to bid $800 LOL.

And the couple in front of me in line was pushing a double stroller with twin babies. And I am talking FRESH out of the oven. 3mos tops. Already crying. I love babies. They are adorable. But that is going to be hell tonight.
