Street parking is impossible because the residential area next door has a strict towing policy...
It is possible to (paid)park outdoors at the next door hotels: the DoubleTree hotel and Best Western hotel.

But upon checkout, my hotel folio was clear of any parking charges..... !
Can't say for sure if it was a combo of being RA / Diamond / Medical package / Rice University / apprective gestures for the valet / being a gorgeous creature again.....
