JFK failed to load pushchair at gate, now what?

Hi - i've tried speaking to BA call centres but they're being near on useless telling me to wait 2-3 more days (or 7-10 working days in one case).

In short, flew JFK-LHR on Sunday with infant. Gate checked a full size pushchair (Uppababy Crus) in is own bag at the gate. I actually handed it to the ground handler so not sure how but it didn't make it onto the aircraft.
Flight crew were great, went and checked with ground staff at LHR but i already knew it hadn't made the journey as it has an airtag on it and was still at T8 JFK.

I logged the missing bag with the baggage staff at LHR. Filled in form and was told I would be messaged a case reference in 5-10 minutes. Nothing arrived.
Got home and logged the missing item myself with the baggage receipt numbers etc. Bag located at JFK and already rebooked onto the monday day flight (BA178).
Pushchair made it onto that flight no problem and made it to LHR that evening. No update to the missing report on ba.com as yet.

Given what it is, i'd like it back pretty sharpish. I've called and all they can say is that it has been rebooked and once it has been verified i'll be contacted.
The airtag itself suggests it has now left LHR and is in some industrial estate in Slough. Does this mean anything to anyone?





I'm worried there is another case reference i don't know about receiving updates I'm not getting.
Given its quite an important day-to-day item I'd like it back asap. I was quoted 48 hours by the ground staff at LHR but that's already passed.

How it didn't make it onto the aircraft i do not know. I'm assuming the ground handler found it too heavy (read: CBA) to take down on his own so just left it.

Does the above location mean anything to anyone? Any experience in how quickly i should get this back. Very frustrating.
