Looks like "Vauxhall" will be the nearest TFL metro station to this Park Hyatt.
I remember that area of London being boring with nothing to do.
However, now with the new shopping centre at Battersea Power Station it may be a bit more interesting.
Hyatt was mad to lose the bid for the location at the Strand/Charing Cross location, but maybe the Hyatt familys' Scotland Yard Hotel was too close for comfort.
From what I heard, they lost the bid for the Strand location because the owners sold the property and it is going to open as a Premier Inn. Nine Elms isn’t the most ideal but it’s rapidly changing, and at this point, I’ll take what I can get from footprint expansions. If Hyatt can work on renovating and converting the Churchill into a Grand Hyatt and throw a Thompson into the mix, we’d have a nice selection of properties in the city.
