Found an interesting combination as I am planning a trip to Japan and Taiwan:
SFO-YVR-EWR-HND (will add one more segment from TYO to Taipei to bring down the cost of this ticket)

From SFO to TYO, the first two segments:
SFO-YVR arrives YVR at 8:53pm
YVR-EWR leaves at 10:30pm (connecting to HND a few hours after landing in EWR)

I am a US citizen and will have check-in luggage.

United.com seems to allow me to purchase this ticket but I am evaluating the risk. Do I have enough time to make the connection when I get out of plane after 9pm?
