If DL is operating an A350, it's most likely an ex-LATAM bird with 2-2-2 business class and no premium economy. ATL-DUB was one of the first routes to be assigned this configuration. Many would consider the A330 an upgrade.

It's not impossible that DL is planning to have most of the ex-LA birds in refit next winter, thus the scheduling of an A330.
