Air filtration in planes is already pretty good. I cannot see that it would be practical to go to the point whereby perfume is eliminated. Talking ppm of stuff here.
Yes, perfume was invented as a hygiene product, and is more or less becoming a cosmetic product. Though I do see that perfume is essential in places where showering is unpractical, such as places where water is a scarce resource.


Activated carbon filter can filter out most scent.
