You are looking at it the wrong way.
12 flights per year, is 6 return journeys per year.
So for a Greek that works/studies abroad, it's not out of the question to visit their home country once
every 2 months, (visit = 2x oneway flights from the Pass, because you also need to return) if they can have the flights booked at a reasonable price, which is what the Pass offers.
