I am figuring this is a lost cause at the gate. Anytime I have bid in the past, it was a smooth, simple online process days ahead of the flight. Everything about my experience with Iberia has kind of been a cluster so far.
Why would the connecting flight or me currently having an economy seat have any effect on being able to bid on a business class seat? I've never read anything that the ability to bid on an upgrade is reserved for premium economy.
