Unrelated, but an amusing tale where I tried to carry parts from a gearbox through a Middle Eastern airport in my hand luggage. Took an awful lot of security guards to inspect it and listen to my tail before being let through.

Not sure what they thought a bunch of cogs was, but it caused quite the upset!
