Amusing that I found this out from the forum rather than Bonvoy. As a Hong Kong based member I received 20 nights: I am now on 94 nights (37 stays) due to the earlier double nights bonus so it doesn't seem that there was any tiering of whether we needed it or not. I guess I can go and select my two gifts for 50/75 nights, and will certainly maintain my Ambassador status due to a few pricey stays earlier in the year.

In Hong Kong we didn't have significant formal government travel restrictions this year, but the legacy of travel and mandatory testing (even if rapid antigen) has certainly restricted travel for the past months for many normal people, and business travel is still recovering. Treating Hong Kong consistently with the rest of "Greater China" is likely a sensible option, local politics probably wouldn't appreciate the Mainland being treated differently from the other parts of the region.

Note: It doesn't appear in the activity feed, but seems to have gone directly into the promotional nights group.
