Interested in topic, as we are going there in late October for one night. I am thinking and have look at the following.

Marriott
Canyon Suites at Phoenician - 120k points - seems too much for my taste
Regular room at Phoenician - 66k points - seems okay
JW Marriott Desert - 60k
Residence Inn Scottsdale Salt River 33k - free parking and breakfast

Hyatt
Royal Palms - 29k
Tempe Mission - 9k - seems really low points relative to cash prices

Which ones have a good pool and garden to look at? Last time I was in Scottsdale as 20 years ago. How, we got two young kids. Should I spend more time outside the hotel instead?
