I wonder if anyone knows if it's ok to take oil filled car shock Absorbers on a plane in checked luggage.

I know gas filled is a no no. Can't seem to see in the BA guidance whether this is prohibited or not.

Destination is OSL, also can see they're banned by the TSA in totality.
