We are flying to Sri Lanka and having to go through India (Chennia airport) we are from the UK
I didnt realize at the time that we would require visa to pass through India as we are having to switch terminals to catch our flight to Sri Lanka.
Ive been reading up on visas as i assumed that a transit visa would be cheap and easy to get , but with so many companies offering the visas the prices vary.
My second problem is that the transit visas seem to be double entry that lasts 15 days , we are in sri lanka for 3 weeks so we would go over that time . So would i need to get 2 transit visas ?
I looked at perhaps getting a normal indian tourist visa to cover the whole time but was looking at fees of £110pp , and there is 4 of us . £440 to just change terminals seems ridiculous

Can any one help point me in the right direction , its stressing me out trying to organise this
