Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard room, no upgrade, far from lift (account preference states near to lift).

How are the rooms?
Windows could be opened. Couldn't get the air con or heating to turn on. View of courtyard and river. Low water pressure but at least towel rails were warm.

How is the exec. lounge?
It was closed permanently a few weeks before my stay, but they probably wouldn't have let me in.

What was good and what was bad?
Good - breakfast used real scrambled eggs, and they had black pudding which was cut into quarters, perhaps anticipating that most people don't want to eat a whole one

Bad - staff weren't that friendly and seemed to want to get off work asap. Tried to give me points and no breakfast, had to interrupt.
Room needs a bit of repair and modernisation.
Bed wasn't too comfortable.

It's about 15-20 minutes walk from the station and parking is £15.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Rate was £102 reduced to £76 by Amex offer. Rate was quite high as I booked at the last minute and there weren't really any other options. Had too much work so didn't have a chance to see the health club. If I need to stay around here again and the rate is cheap I may give this place another chance.
