When I travel now, if my wife doesn't travel with me I get surprisingly lonely even if I am around people at the offices etc. It's not the same as being with family and friends and appreciate time at home now more than ever
That is usually the case from others that I've heard, when someone has family ( especially after marriage and kids ), they want to fly less and enjoy flying less compared to a single person within his 20-30's.
Also, since COVID, most companies doesn't offer flexible travel policies like in F and J for weekly commutes for their new-starters, unless it's a very high positions so I am sorry for the younger generation who enjoys flying who is dreaming and wouldn't be able to fly weekly in Business or First long-haul and get stuck with Zoom, WebEx or Microsoft Teams for most of the time.
