Sometimes the container is too full of paper towels to close properly.
When I see this, I stick my foot in there to compress the contents and free up space at the top.
I do this at United Club restrooms, too.
This is so gross, I don't know where to begin. Putting your foot in a public.washroom.garbage.can
My objective when going in public let alone a washroom is not touching anything. Yuk. What if someone disposed of sharps etc?
