Has anybody been using the Uber App for buying UK train tickets? You get 10% back in Uber credits, and there’s a current promo of 1000 Avios for booking any ticket.
All sounds good, except both times I’ve used it my ticket has been refused at the automatic gates with a “Non-revenue Ticket” message. Which means I have to do the annoying backtrack through the queue to find a ticket person who’ll let me through one of the manual gates.
Anybody else experienced this?
