I’m on Magenta Amplified, which is a workplace-discounted version of Magenta Max. I’ve never had a limitation due to my plan - including as recently as my last flight in mid-April LHR-SFO, and had working wifi the whole flight. Whether the wifi in general onboard is working is a different story - I’ve had better wifi the last couple of months, but had a slew of flights in fall last year and early this year where wifi wasn’t working at all.
Yes, regular Magenta was always advertised as having four full flights per year, but guess what? I don't think it was enforced. There were no counters. I'm pretty sure people got more than four full flights. I haven't flown UA since the end of January 2023, but there was nothing then. I'm guessing this change just started. I also upgraded to Magenta Max last month so I'm not worried about the change.
