I do not know why and I do not have AC status as such but I am Star G so it may be so and I get Zone 2 boarding even if I travel economy. Its the long haul that I worry about because for a 13 hour flight I do carry some stuff that I would need and also need space to put a jacket inside my carry on once I get to the tropics. I have been trying to find a decent carry on that would fit my purpose and also the size guidelines. Unfortunately I have about 4 almost new carry ons that probably does not fit or just slightly over the AC guidelines. They never seem to have a problem with all the other International airlines so far.
Mine does fit the E190, and the Q400 and even the Dash 300.
