You can always re-check rates a day or two before your trip when you are certain that you will travel. If the Pay Now rate is still significantly lower, you can opt to cancel your Pay Later reservation, and re-book at the Pay Now rate.
Do you know and I wonder if I can cancel the reservation on same day on a, PAY LATER rate and don't get charged on any fees, like they would charge something on the card on my Avis account profile?
