Thanks for sharing your experience. Since previously not even Spires (now Diamonds) with 70+ nights per year got access to lounges. Only Royal Ambassadors. 40 nights is almost too easy to achieve in comparison: I got 2 years of lounge access by doing 41 nights last October-December and selecting my benefit in January.
I am concerned that there will be too many eligible people -- like at Marriott where the lounges mostly feel like a zoo during Happy Hour.
Nice to hear that this doesn't (yet?) seem to be the case -- and that hotels don't have to invent a new tier of Club Lounges.
