Yes, you def. can't rebook in advance. No need to call TK CS about this. You can show up at the airport and ask to be put on the earlier flight. It has been reported before that often TK accommodates such requests if seats available etc.
Exactly. You can use the app also to change your flight.
I changed my flight 4 times by using the app. I had no problems. I even changed from SAW to IST and all was fine.
