I always just did my visa processing when I arrived into Indonesia, Do you have a link to this that is in English? I found a link that was on Indonesian only.

I would use the desks as a backup, but of course personal choice. As you wait at the desks all the people on your flight that did the online version are filling in the eVOA lanes. And if you are pressed for time, every minute counts.
