Had an instrument landing at EDI last night, wasn't my first so I knew the drill on devices, but a nice touch was when the Captain came on the intercom after landing to give a brief explanation of the procedure and to thank everyone for complying with the requirements. The info was appreciated and I think can only help to improve compliance in the future.

(A CC member had gone the length of the cabin before landing instructing passengers to have devices fully off as well)
