I suppose until health issues come into play (osteoporosis, insomnia, hypochondria), ”old-money Chinese” will be stingy about fares.
Also if Taiwanese/Asian airports generally are less efficient than they currently are and security looks more like EWR/LHR, and priority lanes are based on class of travel.
