I recall transiting thru FRA with carry-on after a brief international visit to Serbia. My guests gave me about 5-6 bottles of wine to take home - I doubted that they were all that special or expensive (they actually gave me more and I gave a few bottles to my driver) - not knowing what else to do since I knew I could not bring them home...I tried bringing them thru customs to the USA.....fully aware of the inevitable - didnt even try to hide them.

Clearly the security guard wanted to pick a fight with me about bringing them thru - but I really really didnt care... I even said "you guys keep them for after work"
She was visibly angry with me that I had zero emotions as she insisted that I watch her open and pour them all out in front me......
