Slightly related question: Does anyone know if there is a way to choose which free night award to apply to a given reservation? E.g. previously, I had both 1-4 awards and 1-7 awards in my account with different expirations, and the system would just show "free night award" when booking and it wasn't clear which of the certs it was applying. Thanks.
Yes, it's simplest to value the Cat 1-4 award as 10k points and that Cat 1-7 as 20k points, with speculative upside.

The most reliable way to choose the correct award is to make a dummy booking that requires the Cat 1-7, then book the Cat 1-4, then cancel the dummy booking.
