I flew LHR-CPH a few months ago on a 7am-ish departure, A321, seated in 1A.

The flight was completely full (asking for volunteers), no idea how many rows of CE (but probably quite a few).

The breakfast service was poor, being done by 2 staff with a trolley. Of course, I received my meal quite early on (but they would not provide a requested glass of champagne - as it would interrupt their service delivery flow - I should request it later!) and it took them almost the entire flight to serve everybody in CE.

Following that experience I now tend to book the exit row in Y, as the experience is not that different and I save a few pence.
