For YVR-HND, try searching a connection through SEA or LAX, AC on the first leg, ANA on the second. ANA seems to release last minute flights in J from SEA or LAX.
Thanks! I currently have one flight booked with a connection out of SEA on the way there in J. Guessing that I'm fairly lucky on that one? I was hoping for direct but will gladly take the SEA one. Seems more challenging to find ones from TYO back to YVR.
