Flying SFO-PPT roundtrip in September after getting a great deal on Tahiti Miles Redemption Sale at only 140K as compared to 340K for Polaris. A few questions for everyone here. This is my first time on a Polaris 787-9. Previously, I have flown on a non-Polaris 787-9 with the Diamond seats as a lastm-inute swap from a Polaris 777-200ER. For my flight going there to PPT, which seat in Polaris has the most windows/best view as I am one of those people who could stare outside at the window for my whole flight? I have currently selected 1L as it appears that it has the most visibility outside of the plane as I would at least like to watch the sun set of the Pacific towards the end of my flight. Also, I would likely get my first choice on meals assuming pre-ordering on widebody intercontinental flights does not return prior to September 15. For my return flight, I have selected 9A given comments that it is away from the lavatory, and I would be able to get off the plane the quickest as D2 is used for arrival at SFO. Also, would get preference on meal choice. Please let me know of any further suggestions on switching out seats and what not. For both of my flights, it is pretty empty for window seats while the middle seats are predictably the ones filling up. Thank you.
