Ticketing and Payments
Oz Fest 19 HBA will be an all cash event. No credit/debit cards.
Our CEO
Itsalongwaydown has appointed
kpc as CFO.
kpc and his able assistant will collect the cash for
Friday dinner: $ as the menu for food and drinks
Saturday dinner: Food $80 and drinks extra
Sunday bus trip : price to be advised
The vendors will not split bills. The CEO has paid a substantial deposit for some of these events. Paying up front for the $80 dinner and for the bus trip on Friday or Saturday would help. Some smaller $5 and $10 notes will be needed. If everyone has $50’s will be hard to give change.
In the past we have had some Oz Fests with credit/debit card pre payment, but not this year. If we did use Eventbrite would be about a 7.5% fee to them. Nor are we offering electronic funds transfer (EFT) for AU banks.
CEO = Chief Entertainment Officer
CFO = Chief Financial Officer
We have set up a no cost reservation ticket system to indicate your attendance at the 3 main events on Eventbrite. We have to
confirm and guarantee numbers with the vendors. That confirms you will make the payments, even if you no show for some reason.

The pricing of Oz Fests is to cover costs. At times we have made a small surplus and have made a donation to Royal Flying Doctor Service or other charity. But at times the Oz Fest organiser has made up a shortfall.
To date we have

Of the 40 who are Platinum 21 are from Australia, 13 from USA, 1 from Canada, 4 from NZ, and 1 from EU (or SIN?)
Of the 4 who are Gold 2 are from Australia, 1 from USA and 1 from Canada

Some on the Platinum list have not advised hotels or flights, so they may not attend. If people book a flight and hotel that is a good guide they will really attend. We always get late cancellations and late additions.
