Onboard YL-LDD with SmartLynx for tonight’s SK2031 UME-ARN. Approx. 15 year old A320-232. Cabin is clean and well-presented. Seats unfamiliar, faux-leather finish with SAS antimacassars, SAS Plus bookmark on row 7 and and SAS menus. No USB, power or wifi. Cabin crew in Smartlynx uniforms, some with SAS name badge. Nobody speaks a Nordic language.
Edit, after flight. One divergence from normal safety protocol. Refuelling was conducted while on the ground at UME. There were no announcements to that effect or instructions to keep seat belts open. It’s a very small detail, but that rule exists for a reason. A bit concerning that Smartlynx flight deck and cabin crew weren’t communicating with each other or with us cattle.
