One medium-sized challenge in this context is rebooking displaced WTP pax; the BA A380 has 55 WTP seats, the 777s have up to 52, and WTP is apparently routinely overbooked -- but AA 777s and 87s have as few as 24 premium economy seats, and they're often fully booked also. So very often BA WTP pax are looking at forced downgrades, tedious reroutes, or traveling another day.
