I'm almost at the point where I'm not expecting I'll find a last minute direct flight. I had Japan booked before the pandemic and lucked out with 2 direct J flights, re-booked at least 4 times (but as with everyone else plans got derailed understandably). I was hoping to avoid AC Y but don't think I'll have much luck.
