By the time we boarded, of course the overhead bins were packed in our cabin (C+). Our flight to SGU on Monday was MX delayed so they kept us on a bus with no A/C and temps in the 80's (90's in the bus). After about 20 minutes they took us back to the terminal only to reboard us a few minutes later. Sitting on a bus for 20 minutes with broken A/C soured what would have been a great DL experience.
100% feel your pain! They don't change the boarding time if you are flying out of a bus gate, so when we got to the gate on a flight earlier this year, they acted like we were late even though we were there on the dot per the time listed on our boarding passes. Now, I can tell by the gate that it will be a bus gate, but if you don't fly regularly through SLC I don't know that this would be information that would be obvious to anyone. Sucks, because if you visit the SC, you basically have to leave about an hour early to account for the hike to terminal B and the bus trip. As I've said before, I always take pictures of the buses and post tagging them #SkyMilesLife.
