PDX has been without a nonstop flight to Asia for over 3 years now. It will be interesting to see if anyone (JAL? ANA?) fills the void left by DL or will the city be left without a nonstop link to Asia for the foreseeable future?
Asia > PDX > Atlanta (or east coast) was a double-redeye for me and was terrible... Can't say I miss it.
