DFW is likely the destination cause IAH does not have that many passengers. JX can snatch those who bus over to IAH on BR.

I don't think he is that interested in NYC. It's not economically feasible before the Russian-Ukraine war and it only gets worse when no one is able to use the Russia Airspace when flying to US. When he runs out of destinations in the US to open, that will be the one to go. I personally don't see him opening ORD or IAH and JX does not have the rights to open any destinations in Canada. Maybe he will up LAX and SFO first.

Do the slots at JFK / EWR still cost a lot? That would be another thing to overcome, right? It seems NYC is low on his list.

Some of this depends on BR and CI also. I would not be surprised if BR opens IAD ans BOS once the new 787s come in.

For SEA, it seems it might have been moved up the list since they signed the Alaska alliance?

For the midwest destination, it seems it is between "not sure and DFW". If he is lining up for oneworld, DFW definitely makes even more sense. Don't both Houston and Dallas have a lot of Asians?
