I flew domestic out of YQM and connecting International on YYZ and hence thru check in and there was no security check and no one at the gate was checking the hand luggage at zone 1 or 2. Not sure if they checked on other zones. I have a domestic check in later this month so I would have to go thru security at YYZ and will report.
