Anyone having issues buying MOs at Walmart?
Today's dp: I went to the cashier to buy a MO. I did not even say the amount before she said 'we don't accept GCs'. I ignored her and proceeded. Before swiping the cards, I said I wanna do split payments and she said 'no GCs' again, which was when I gave up. I have not even shown her my card or touched the POS.
I am not too worried about this because apparently she is just told not to accept GC transactions. I would go again and take my chances on another cashier. But I do want to know:
1. Is the new protocol only adopted by the cashier(which is likely to be forgotten within months), or is the POS also set to reject GCs (much bigger problem),
2. Any successful dps using GCs to buy MO?
