Such well-known brands always are expensive. I am travelling now and find good hotels, in BKK and elsewhere, for 30-40 Euro, apparently since tourism did not really pick up to pre COVID levels. Even cab prices for e.g. airport transfers seem not to have risen compared to pre-covid. I don't seem to spend really more as pre-covid, and it is still a country where you don't really have to be very careful about what you do and still stay in budget.
