I see. Thanks all! Good to know that suites are not updated while the smaller rooms are. We're really there for only a day and a half given that we're arriving around midnight so I might just ask for the room we initially booked. We've never been to Bali but is the ocean kind of like Hawaii ocean? One of my favorite things when in Hawaii is to sit in these ocean front balconies in the shade but with a nice pacific ocean breeze and read. Do you have to pay for these cabanas? I know in many places in US you have to so I never use them.
The ocean at the conrad is nice but I prefer Kaanapali or Wailea for views. That said you can hang at the beautiful pool and see the ocean. We spent 5 days in Bali (post cruise) and definite was beautiful and want to go back given how cheap tours are and so many cool things to see and do e.g. the monkey forest was amazing could have spent a half a day just watching the monkeys interact.
