I suspect this sort of scenario will very likely become more commonplace as we head into summer, when the size of travelling parties grows.

Do hope the situation you describe from Tuesday wasn’t exacerbated by any selfish types who think it’s acceptable to create a bed for themselves …… stretched out across a sofa / multiple chairs, potentially denying space to two or more other lounge users. Any sliver of empathy I might have for the ‘I’m so tired with all this flying’ justification (yes, aren’t we all ) quickly reduces to zero when the lounges are super-busy.
