You cannot use BTC for travel to Europe as eligible carriers Alaska, Horizon, Penair, and SkyWest do not fly there. From the terms and conditions:
  • Alaska Airlines bonus travel certificates (BTCs) must be redeemed online at alaskaair.comŽ towards the purchase of eligible fares for travel flights operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, Penair between Anchorage and Dutch Harbor, and SkyWest Flight Series 3300-3499.
