Yeah -- not sure what I was expecting for an answer either ... Was maybe tentatively hoping that folks could temper my perception of reality.

I've been here in Dec (way too cold, had to cut the trip short) and Feb (getting warm, but still pretty chilly by mid-afternoon). Am hoping that late June would be nicely palatable - but not quite burn-your-feet-on-the-concrete scorching.

I've been unfortunately spoiled by the tropics, but am trying to figure out whether I should stick with the quick weekend trip here from SoCal as an initial summer family outing, or just bite the bullet and $chlep everybody to Hawaii.
