My partner and I walked with small wheelie bags (carry on luggage) and it was fine. The walk takes about 3 minutes; I would not describe it as a "long" walk. You may need to lift up your bag a couple of times as there's not always a ramp between the road/driveway and the raised side walk. I recommend you take a look on Google Street View.
