- Were you (or for multi-stayers were you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive ? Booked a Privilège room and got that (no higher category).

- How are the rooms? large, very good soundproofing (was facing the street). Comfy bed. Usual Privilège room amenities : bathrobe, slippers, Nespresso machine, etc.

Relatively large bathroom with walk-in shower.










- What was good and what was bad?

Good: very nice location downtown Lyon, on Place des Jacobins. Tons of restaurants around. Pleasant room to stay in. Good wifi connection. Nice staff at front desk.

Bad: : nothing (apart no welcome gift and an horrible spelling mistake on the welcome letter )





- Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge? no lounge

- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks : Drink voucher valid for the usual stuff. No welcome gift, as usual in French mid-scale hotels…

- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? Definitely yes. It was my 1st time in this hotel and liked it. I have stayed in several Mercure in Lyon, and this one is the best I have stayed in, so far.
